Warranty

This warranty applies only to original purchaser of the part and only as long as the part remains installed on the vehicle for which it was originally purchased for 30 days, or for longer if an extended warranty applies. This warranty is not transferable or assignable. If any defect is discovered during the warranty period, Airport Auto Parts, Inc. must be informed immediately. All claims must be accompanied by the part and the original sales receipt. Defects must be verified and all work under this warranty authorized by Airport Auto. Transportation cost of any part is specifically excluded from this warranty. The purchaser remedies for breach of warranty shall be limited to repayment of the purchase price or to repair and / or replace defective part. Such repair, replacement, or refund will satisfy all obligations under this warranty. Any improper use, abuse (including but not limited to overheating or low oil in engines and transmissions) neglect, carless handling, damage done by improper installation or repairs, shall void this warranty. Melting of heat tabs installed by Airport Auto, if applicable, will be considered evidence of overheating. Labor costs, including the cost of moving attached external parts from the purchaser's old part to the Airport Auto Parts, seals, gaskets, fluids and similar supplies are specifically excluded from this warranty.

Airport Auto warrants to the original purchaser the internal parts of its engines to be free of defects for a period of 30 days from the date of sale. The parts covered by this warranty are the engine block, cylinder head with valves, cam shaft, connecting rods and bearings, pistons, piston rings, oil pump, crankshaft and bearings, rock arms, valve lifters and all other internally lubricated parts. Excluded from this warranty are the fuel components, water pump, all electrical parts, hoses, lines, intake and exhaust manifolds, fuel injector pumps, all other fuel injection parts, and all other external parts. Calibration and adjustment of excluded parts is also excluded from this warranty. This warranty is void if new oil, oil filter, timing cover, timing belt tensioner, and water pump are not used in installation.

Airport Auto warrants to the original purchaser the internal parts of its transmission to be free of defects for a period of 30 days from the date of sale. The parts covered by this warranty are the transmission case and all internal parts including the torque converter. Excluded from this warranty are transmission mounts, shifting linkage, flywheel, all other external parts and problems that result from not installing new front and rear main seals when installing the transmission. Automatic transmission warranty is void if new transmission fluid and filter and not used in installation.

Airport Auto warrants to the original purchaser that recycled parts sold will be free of defects for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase.

Electrical parts such as starters, alternators, computers, and misc. sensors, are guaranteed to work properly for 30 days. All sales are final; if the part is defective, we will replace it with exactly the same part. Money will not be refunded. We assume no responsibility for improper installation and there is no reimbursement for the labor to install or remove a defective part.

Parts not defective may be returned within 7 days of purchase date. The following parts are excluded from returns: electrical parts, special order parts and parts cut off cars at customer request. Returnable parts are subject to acceptance by the dismantler and are subject to a 20% handling charge. To be returnable, parts must be in the same condition as when sold.

A reasonable cash deposit is required when parts must be "special ordered" from another source or when "special dismantling" is required. These "special" parts are not returnable. Deposits on "special" parts are not refundable and will be forfeited if the balance is not paid in full within 30 days.

Exchange parts must be turned in at time of purchase, or a core charge will be added to the sale price. The core charge will be refunded if the exchange part is brought back within 30 days. You must bring your receipt to receive your core deposit.

All used merchandise must be inspected by buyer for defects or safety hazards. Seller states that he in no way guarantees or warrants used merchandise for apparent or non-apparent safety hazards and affirmatively states that the used merchandise sold may have safety hazards and it is the responsibility of buyer to inspect for actual or latent safety hazards or hire an expert to so inspect.

All parts are sold "as is" and except as noted above, there are no expressed or implied warranties made by the seller.

Extended and installation limited warranties must be purchased separately.

Silver Coverage: This will protect the original purchaser for a period not to exceed 6 months from the invoice date for replacement of the failed part as outlined in our limited warranty policy. This warranty does not include labor.

Gold Coverage: This will protect the original purchaser for a period not to exceed 1 year from the invoice date for repair or replacement and labor of the failed parts as outlined in our limited warranty policy.

Platinum Coverage: This will protect the original purchaser for parts and labor as outlined in our limited warranty policy, for as long as purchaser owns the vehicle. Warranty is not transferable.

AIRPORT AUTO PARTS, INC GUARANTEES NO LABOR COSTS UNLESS SPECIFIC WARRANTY COVERAGE IS PURCHASED AND BILLED ON THE SAME INVOICE AS THE PART FOR WHICH IT WAS PURCHASED. ALL CLAIMS REQUIRE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION. CLAIMS WILL BE PAID PER FLAT RATE HOUR AS DETERMINED BY THE MOTORS FLAT RATE MANUAL. SHOP SUPPLIES, MATERIALS AND FLUIDS ARE INCLUDED.
